Advanced Home Technology

Included as Standard

For a NAAMEC New-build House Priced Over £300K

As standard, NAAMEC includes many technology features which are not found in a typical new-build house:

Three Wall-Mounted TV Points

  • Wall-mounted TV points installed in the lounge, sun-room and master bedroom.

Hardwired Internet Connections to TV Points

  • The 3 TV points above have ethernet cable connections (hidden in the walls) run directly to the internet modem.

  • Relative to WiFi (wireless connection), hardwired connections permit significantly higher internet speeds and much greater stability.

  • This is of great benefit when streaming or downloading TV programmes (e.g. on Sky, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney+, Apple TV+, etc.), especially for shows in HD or UHD.

Nearby HDMI Wall Sockets for TV Points

(Allows Clutter-free, Cable-less Look for TVs)

  • The 3 TV points above have connected HDMI wall sockets near the corner of the room.

  • This allows the Sky box, games console, Blu-ray player or DVD player to be tucked away in the corner of the room. Rather than having the devices stored underneath the TV, with all the associated cables showing :

TV Aerial Installed in the Loft

  • A modern TV aerial is supplied and fitted discretely in the attic space.

Home Security Alarm System

  • A fully integrated intruder alarm system.

Core Extras

Upgrade Options Offered by NAAMEC

NB: The options below incur extra costs and are only available for new-build houses reserved (and deposit paid) prior to the start of construction.

Ceiling-integrated Home Sound System

  • Typically, this option features a total of 4 premium (Monitor Audio) speakers built into the ceilings of the kitchen, dining area and sun-room.

  • The speaker system is run by a SONOS amp. This SONOS hub is stored in a cupboard discretely and may be controlled wirelessly via a mobile phone (the SONOS App) or by voice-activation (e.g. via an Amazon Alexa device).

WiFi Extension: Signal Booster Point

  • For some homes, the WiFi signal from the internet modem may struggle to cover the entire house.

  • To extend the signal coverage, this option provides a WiFi Hot-spot distant from the modem location. The device is hardwired to the modem and is stored discretely in a kitchen cupboard or above a ceiling speaker.

  • NB: The booster point helps to extend the signal coverage, but does NOT guarantee a strong or fast WiFi signal across the entire home. This is influenced by various other factors, including the internet service provider and the local BT Openreach network.

Extra Wall-mounted TV Points (with Hardwired Internet Connection & a Linked HDMI Wall Socket)

  • Option of additional wall-mounted TV points (3 are included as standard).

  • Each point has an ethernet cable connection (for faster streaming relative to WiFi) and a linked HDMI wall socket (for a clutter-free, cable-less look).

Home Security: Smart Alarm System Upgrade

  • This upgrade allows the security system to be connected to a mobile phone app.

  • The security system can be activated/ deactivated by the app and can also send an alert to the mobile when the alarm is triggered.

Extended Extras

Upgrade Options Offered by NAAMEC and its Home Technology Partner

If a new-build house is reserved (and deposit paid) prior to the start of construction, not only are the core technology options above available from NAAMEC, but also a free private consultation with NAAMEC’s home technology partner to discuss the extended extras.

These audio-visual specialists will assess your personal requirements, before outlining bespoke technology options tailored to the property. NAAMEC and its home technology partner can then work together to fulfil this.

Popular extended extras include:

Professional TV Sound System

  • A range of premium options, including sound bars, subwoofers and surround-sound speakers (built beautifully into the ceiling).
